Korean Onggi

Rooted in Korean tradition, onggi jars have been used for centuries to ferment and store foods like kimchi, doenjang, and gochujang. Each jar I make is hand-thrown and carefully finished, honoring the craft passed down through generations. While traditionally used for fermentation, these jars can also be used to store sauces, herbs, seasonings, and more—bringing a touch of heritage into everyday cooking. These pieces carry both cultural meaning and timeless beauty—made for the modern home, with deep respect for heritage.
